Flint is unraveling again

Another day, another imperiled franchise in the IHL.

Check out this from Flint, where the Generals continue to limp along without a true owner. According to the writer, and apparently a lot of others, the Frankes are the ones keeping Flint alive with one hand while desperately trying to find viable ownership with the other. That characterization may or may not be accurate, but it does sound plausible.

All I know is this: I'm not nearly as upbeat about the future of the "I" as some are. Sounds more and more like the Komets are the only ones keeping it alive. The more I read about the league, the more it reminds me of some of our ill-advised indoor football ventures.

I could be wrong, of course. But I doubt it.
