Senior night ready for tip

Nice atmosphere here at Mackey about 20 minutes before tip off.

The student section is full of signs honoring seniors Chris Kramer, Keaton Grant and Mark Wohlford, who will be playing their last game in West Lafayette tonight against rival Indiana.

The best sign I've seen so far was a three-parter -- a big picture of Kramer, a "greater than" sign and a big picture of Chuck Norris. As in Kramer is tougher than Chuck. Pretty sweet.

All the students in the Paint Crew are wearing special senior day t-shirts, gold shirts with a cartoon-ish picture on the front that has Kramer, Wohlford and Grant.

Grant was presented with a special game ball for becoming Purdue's all-time steals leader before the game.

On Monday, Kramer talked about his emotions for the game.

"I think it might really hit me when we get a chance to talk," Kramer said. "When I'm saying thanks to my parents and everybody like that. I think it will be a sad thing really.

"I'm going to try not to cry. Everything is going to go into it. There's just so many people that have impacted my life, have gotten me to the position I am right now. So just everything I put into it, with those guys kind of molding me and getting me to this position, it could get pretty emotional. We'll see what happens."
