Comcast to show classic games

Comcast Cable and the IHSAA have teamed up to offer classic boys basketball state tournament games, available On Demand.

Beginning on Thursday, the cable network will show the games from the IHSAA's video library in the "Get Local" category on Comcast.

It will be no additional cost to Comcast Digital subscribers.

Some of the classic games will be the 1954 Milan and Muncie Central game that helped inspire the movie "Hoosiers."

Also, there will be the 1955 Indianapolis Attucks game vs. Gary Roosvelt, with Oscar Robertson playing for Attucks.

There will also be the 1989 Lawrence North-Kokomo game, 1995 Ben Davis and Merrillville and 2007 East Chicago Central and North Central in Class 4A.

In the coming weeks, some more games will be featured, including the 1965 game between North Side and Indianapolis Washington.
