Director Tim Burton’s “Alice in Wonderland,” which opened Friday, promises to be a curiously creepy take on Lewis Carroll’s classic tale. The buzz surrounding the film has been fueled by Disney’s high-fashion collaborations with jewelry and beauty brands, and a crop of current retail finds seem to have something oh-so-Alice about them.

•With a sleek pointed toe and gleaming red metallic finish, the patent leather brogues from Marc by Marc Jacobs add a bit of androgynous panache to classic black trousers or cropped skinny jeans. The Mad Hatter would approve. $350 at www.net-a-porter.com.

•Created for the film, Urban Decay’s Book of Shadows eye makeup kit is packaged in a booklike case, which opens to a pop-up scene featuring the newly shrunken Alice. A hidden drawer reveals 16 of the brand’s best-selling eyeshadows (with new names such as Jabberwocky and Curiouser), as well as two travel-sized eyeliners and a mini eyeshadow primer. $52 at Sephora and Ulta stores, www.sephora.com and www.ulta.com.

•Combining classic gingham with a fashion-forward silhouette, H&M’s bubble-hem dress looks both sweet and chic paired with simple ballet flats and a cropped cardigan. $49.95

•Jewelry designer Tom Binns created two lines inspired by Alice’s adventures – a six-piece collection with prices in the $1,000 to $2,000 range and a more budget-friendly series of 35 baubles. The latter includes this Mad Hatter bracelet, adorned with chains, strips of suede and an array of quirky charms. $200 at www.zappos.com.

•OPI’s latest lacquer collection includes lush wine, crimson, sparkly turquoise and glittery purple polishes. Add some cinematic flair to a winter day with a coat of “Off With Her Red,” “Mad as a Hatter” or “Absolutely Alice.” $8.50 each at Ulta stores and professional salons.
