No trading post here

It's apparently going to be all quiet on the trading front for the Komets, with the deadline coming up at the end of this week.

"The only way we'll make a move is if it helps our team," Komets coach Al Sims said last night. "We're not gonna make a trade for the sake of making a trade."

Not that making a trade would be likely anyway, according to Sims.

"Nobody will trade with us," he said bluntly. "Who's gonna help the Fort Wayne Komets in this league? Everybody helps Port Huron, they don't help the Komets."
