Shots fired; couple held in home feud

A domestic dispute landed a Fort Wayne couple in jail after a man slapped his girlfriend in front of their children and she shot at him with a handgun last week, police said.

Antonio G. Link, 21, was charged Wednesday with battery, domestic battery and interfering with the reporting of a crime. Police believe he slapped his pregnant girlfriend in the face in front of their four children, ages 5 to 9, and broke her phone when she called police March 4 at their home in the 4400 block of Queen Street.

Officers also arrested Link’s girlfriend, 27-year-old Kenyatta O. Holley, on a criminal recklessness charge after she fired a pistol at him twice outside their home, a probable cause affidavit said.

Link was being held in lieu of $13,250 bail, and Holley was being held in lieu of $10,000 bail.
