Thunderstorms possible in region

The National Weather Service in northern Indiana says there is a chance of thunderstorms this afternoon and evening.

The storms are not expected to become severe.

It said an inch or more of rain is likely in the region during the next several days.

Counties in the hazardous outlook include:

  • Indiana – LaGrange, Steuben, Noble, DeKalb, Starke, Pulaski, Marshall, Fulton, Kosciusko, Whitley, Allen, White, Cass, Miami, Wabash, Huntington, Wells, Adams, Grant, Blackford and Jay.
  • Ohio – Williams, Fulton, Defiance, Henry, Paulding, Putnam, Van Wert and Allen.
  • Michigan – St. Joseph, Branch and Hillsdale.
