McLeod's statement

Former Indiana assistant coach Roshown McLeod released a statement via a public relations firm Friday regarding his dismissal from the school.

"I greatly appreciate the opportunity afforded me by Indiana University," McLeod said. "It gave me the chance to work with some amazing student athletes over the last two seasons. I wish the best for IU as they move forward."

The school announced the decision not to renew McLeod’s contract Sunday. He was an assistant at Indiana for two years.
