Don’t forget to 'spring forward' this weekend

Before you go to bed Saturday night, set your clocks forward one hour, or you might miss something important on Sunday morning.

If you go to bed at 10 p.m., for example, change your clocks to 11 p.m.

In accord with the mnemonic "Spring Forward, Fall Back," the precise time for the change is 2 a.m. Sunday, when the time becomes 3 a.m.

Many people across the nation also use this changing of the clocks as a reminder to change the batteries in your smoke detectors.
