On the road to Spokane

Waiting at the Indianapolis airport, getting ready to head to Denver and then on to Spokane, Wash.

I haven’t seen too many Purdue fans here, but many fans usually leave the day before the game. So I’m guessing most will head out tomorrow with a Friday tip. The team left West Lafayette at 1 p.m. today. No word on when Siena headed out – but that will be a crazy travel day. The school is located in Albany, N.Y.

Here’s some of what to expect over the next couple of days:

Siena starts off the news conferences Thursday at 2:20 p.m. Eastern. (Washington is three hours behind.) Then the Saints will head to practice. Purdue is scheduled to be on the stage 90 minutes later and will have an open practice at Spokane Arena after that. We’ll have a presence in the paper each day – as we have the last week or so – and I just wrote on Purdue’s offensive struggles for Thursday. I will blog throughout the tournament, so keep checking back here. I’m hoping to get at least one video blog posted, too. Purdue-Siena is the first game on Friday – bright and early at 11:30 a.m. Pacific, 2:30 p.m. Eastern.
