For those basketball fans out there who want to witness Hoosier Hysteria, they should have seen the scene at Huntington North Arena on Saturday.
The two semistate games, Bowman Academy vs. Monroe Central in Class A, followed by Warsaw-Carroll in 4A is what Indiana high school boys basketball is all about.
By halftime of the first game, Bowman and Monroe Central, the place was packed to the brim with 5,500 screaming fans. And there was plenty in standing along the top rails.
Who knows how many will stay for the 4A game, but it looks as though both games will have a packed house.
The color schemes, though, don't seem to match up well. With the maroon of Bowman sitting beside the "Neon Green" T-shirts of Carroll and the Orange of Warsaw near the gold of Monroe Central, it gives the eyes a workout.
