Winter Street blaze burns living room

A fire caused heavy smoke and fire damage to a living room in a home at 4125 Winter St. early today, according to the Fort Wayne Fire Department.

Firefighters were called at 2:12 a.m. to the home, which was unoccupied, and found smoke and flames in the living room and attic. They brought the blaze under control in 15 minutes.

There were no injuries.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
