The SAC baseball coaches had their annual gathering Monday and for the second time in a row it was at Parkview Field.
The coaches discussed the usual things and had a few extra things to consider.
One will be the news that the North-South high school all-star game will be at Parkview Field in 2011.
The all-star game has been in Fort Wayne twice recently and also has been in Huntington. When it comes to Fort Wayne next year, it appears the NHC will be the host conference, with Norwell's Kelby Weybright running the show.
This year's game is July 8-10 at Earlham College in Richmond.
The coaches also discussed what to do next season with a eight-game league schedule when Elmhurst closes in June. No decision was made, with any final arrangements going through the conference's athletic directors.
As always, the league's coaches voted for where they thought the teams would finish in the conference race.
Defending Class 4A state champion Snider was predicted to be SAC champions.
Their prediction was:
3. Concordia (tie)
3. Northrop (tie)
5. Bishop Luers
6. Bishop Dwenger
7. North Side
8. South Side
