When school reform goes awry

I had the opportunity to interview education historian Diane Ravitch about her new book, "The Death and Life of the Great American School System." A link is here.

Gov. Mitch Daniels, who appears to be a candidate for the GOP nomination for president, and State Supt. Tony Bennett, who appears to be a candidate for the GOP nomination for governor, should read the book. They could certainly benefit from Dr. Ravitch's insight on education policies they are aggressively pushing.
