K's got Game

The Komets swept the IHL's weekly awards.

Leo Thomas took Player of the Week honors, after he tallied four goals and eight points in four games. Sean O'Connor was selected as Rookie of the Week, thanks to four goals and five points.

And Nick Boucher was named Goaltender of the Week. He went 4-0-0, stopped 117 of 127 shots and had a shutout as the Komets remained in contention -- albeit not by much -- for clinching the regular-season championship.

Muskegon needs only one point, or one lost by the Komets, to claim the Huber Trophy.
