This has to be one of my favorite square patterns out there. It's called the Daisy Charity Square pattern and is free if you are willing to join this Yahoo group, where you will also get support and help with completing the square. The only request of the designer is that you make her at least one square to put in afghans she puts together for charity. This is such a cheery square and can be done in so many color combos. The photo that accompanies this post is an afghan I made for a friend's daughter, it makes me smile every time I see it. -- Joyce

My Little Gray Thing

I really want this project to grow up into a wrist-warmer. The thumb gore is causing problems, but I think I know how to work around it. This week's Math4Knitters Crafty Living is not about my struggle with thumb gores. Instead, it is a very geeky, somewhat short show about rethinking how I learn a stitch pattern.
