I have been covering my bean and clematis plants every night during the frost warnings and they are surviving, well, mostly surviving. One bean plant got chopped up by a weed wacker. I was trying to grow a bean plant around the bird feeder pole and it was mistaken for tall grass.
My cherry tree was in blossom during the frost warnings but it has gotten too big to cover. Hopefully the cold won't affect the production of cherries, not that I will have an opportunity to eat any of them. The robins tend to get the first pick of the season.
