Hip-hip and hooray for Peter Dawson, the chief executive of the Royal and Ancient at St. Andrews.
Dawson told Peter Dixon of The Times of London that there won't be any heavy-handed attempts to shield disgraced golfer Tiger Woods from hecklers when the British Open comes to the R&A in July.
"We're not a police state," Dawson said. "People can say what they like."
Hear, hear.
