    In East Lansing, Michigan, the IPFW women’s doubles team of Marcy Huck and Mayu Sato finished the season-opening tennis tournament at Michigan State undefeated Sunday.
  • Miami (Ohio) blanks IPFW women
    The IPFW women's soccer team (1-6) fell 3-0 at Oxford, Ohio to Miami. Kelsey Dinges scored for the RedHawks in the 25th minute from a free kick deflection to give the hosts a one-goal advantage at halftime.

New women's basketball assistant at IPFW

Tara Miller will begin her duties Monday as the No. 3 assistant for the women's basketball program at IPFW.

Miller, named to the 2005 Indiana high school All-Star team from North Harrison, began her collegiate career at Indiana University, then transferred to Butler.

She replaces Hilary O'Connell as the No. 3 assistant on head coach Chris Paul's staff.

The Mastodons also lost assistant Alex Webster. The school is searching for a replacement.
