I love grey linen and pink knitting needles

I had a dinner to attend late last summer and had my entire outfit all picked out. Then, I realized I didn't have a bag to go with said outfit. "Why not make one?" I thought, instead of spending too much time and money in a department store purse department. So, I found a cute, evening wear-type fabric and a liner fabric and went Internet surfing for a pattern. That's when I found the "Grab Bag" at All People Quilt. I love this bag and couldn't resist, so I made it, I made several. My first attempt at sewing my own bag wasn't the greatest, but I learned a lot and I've improved with each bag I have made. -- Joyce

I'm knitting a raglan-style linen sweater right now, but this week's Math4Knitters Crafty Living is not about that. Instead, I share a cheat sheet for waist shaping and have a chat about the upcoming Salomon Farm Park Fiber Arts Celebration. -- Lara
