Racing to the middle

So the Indy Racing League is about to add a race through the streets of Baltimore to its resume.

Here's the best part of this: Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake saying that the race "will change the way the world sees Baltimore."

Sure it will. Now, instead of the world seeing Baltimore as "that city with the crappy baseball team," they'll see it as "that city that wasn't big-time enough to land a NASCAR race."
