  • A goalie guess; look at lines
Roman Will would seem to be the most likely fit to wind up in the ECHL as a goalie, but he's spent the last two seasons in the Czech Republic after an impressive junior career in Moncton. If I had to guess, it would be him.
  • K's sign 2 forwards
The Komets finalized the signing of forward Thomas Frazee, who had 24 goals and 47 points in 60 games last season for Quad City of the CHL, and also announced that they have added forward Brett Beebe to the roster.
  • Looks almost official
Center Thomas Frazee posted on his twitter account he will play for the Komets this season.

  • Today's edition of "We've got Game," co-hosted by Justin Cohn and Ben Smith, is going to have an exciting show. We will have the Komets' P.C. Drouin and, by popular request, hockey writer Brendan Savage of The Flint Journal. Use the radio button on your right. We'll try something new: If you have questions you'd like asked of any of me, Ben, P.C. or Brendan, e-mail them to Please put a name and hometown on it. The show will be a different time, 5 to 6 p.m., because I have a conflict this week. If you cannot listen live, it's not a problem. You can listen whenever is convenient, like when you're watching the NHL playoffs or fighting boredom when your boss is out of town.
