This week, the Fort Wayne Parks & Recreation Department's Summer 2010 Fun Times landed on my kitchen table, inside the newspaper.

I go through the whole thing, whenever I get it, and enter into my calendars anything of potential interest. It looks like it will be a busy summer.

It takes a while, but it gives me a chance to highlight events that we may not otherwise cover. It also is one of the major sources I have for the crafty calendar.

Most of these events are classes that require registration, so I don't mention them in my weekly calendar updates. If you're looking for a class to take, please look ahead, and then check on the registration deadline and fees required.
