I visited Eugene, Oregon, earlier this month, and had a great time. Part of that time was spent at Tsunami Books. I visited the bookstore after eating myself silly at Off the Waffle.
Maybe I had too much sugar in my system, but I couldn't help myself. I bought a two-volume encyclopedia of Victorian needlework and an anthology of Harper's Bazaar fashion of the same time.
They are huge books, but at least they are paperbacks, so I didn't break my back getting them home. I'm not really sure why I wanted them, but I had to have them. I'm sure I will find an excuse somewhere. Maybe I was just compensating for my lack of vacation yarn-buying.
