My next planned Cheat Sheet is about short-row bust darts. I don't want to do a sample knit for myself, because my current sweater doesn't need bust darts.
So, I went and bought a "fashion doll" at a craft store. The doll comes with a pattern for a crocheted dress, a pair of shoes and some underpants. That's all. I'm going to use up some leftover sock yarn and have fun making a shaped tube top for her.
It was really inexpensive and it will work well for what I have planned, but I'm debating about if I need to make/knit/buy a skirt for the doll.
The photos for the blog will probably just be of the bust area, since that's what the Cheat Sheet is about, after all.
However, it's strange enough that I'm going to bring a doll in to work and take pictures of it. I'm not sure I have what it takes to also answer questions about the state of dress - or undress - of said doll.
