Carroll's Glass advances

Justin Glass of Carroll won the third preliminary round of the "hometown hitter" contest. Glass hit two home runs. Zach Pfafman (DeKalb), Steve Lowden (Homestead), Chad Sampson (Norwell), Austin Fearnow (Columbia City) and Josh Sefton (Bellmont) also competed. Glass advances to the finals, which will take place at a date to be determined. Spencer Burns of Garrett and Kristian Gayday of Elmhurst are the other two finals participants. The winner will participate in the Midwest League's home run derby June 21 at Parkview Field.
