2 parades on Memorial Day

– Two annual Memorial Day parades will be conducted Monday.

The Allen County Council of Veterans parade will begin at 11 a.m. at Parnell Avenue and State Boulevard and end at Memorial Coliseum. A ceremony will be conducted outside the Coliseum's Memorial Hall after the parade.

The Waynedale Memorial Day parade will begin at 9 a.m. at Waynedale United Methodist Church, 2501 Church St. The parade will follow Old Trail Road to Prairie Grove Cemetery. A ceremony will be at the cemetery after the parade.

Lindenwood will conduct its 150th anniversary program 2 p.m. Sunday.
