Former North Side standout Justin Jordan could be coming closer to home.
After playing as a freshman point guard at Saint Louis University, Jordan has announced his transfer, according to www.indystar.com.
Jordan averaged 4.9 points for the Billikens, but said he got a little homesick and was playing out of position.
He listed Ball State as his No. 1 likely destination, with IPFW, IUPUI and Wright State as other possibilities.
Jordan's father, Lawrence, was a standout for IPFW in the late 1980s, while Wright State has had former Redskins Vernard Hollins and Ross McGregor also play there.
Jordan would have to sit out a season under NCAA transfer rules.
Jordan was an Indiana All-Star after his senior season at North Side and averaged 27 points and six assists.
