Making moves

Jose Flores tinkered with the TinCaps lineup, moving clean-up hitter Nate Freiman down one slot to fifth. Jason Hagerty hit fourth.

Freiman went 1 for 3 with an RBI on a sacrifice fly in Fort Wayne's 4-3 victory. Hagerty went 1 for 4 with a run scored.

Freiman had been in the No. 4 spot for all 51 of starts this season.

"I wanted to take a little bit of pressure off of Freiman hitting in the four hole," Flores said. "The last few games we had in Bowling Green we had situations where he'd come up with runners in scoring position and just didn't get that big hit. Not taking anything away from him, he's one of our horses, he's out there every day, he's working hard and trying to get through it. I just wanted to shake it up a little bit and see what it looks like with him hitting behind Hagerty."
