FORT WAYNE – With a plateful of Caribbean, Greek, Italian and Spanish flavors, 8 WW Cuisines opened last week in Warsaw.
The lunch menu includes grilled saffron chicken, walnut chicken, beef or chicken enchilada, fried rice noodles with prawns and curry shrimp. Prices are $8.25 to $16.
Dinner entrées feature Turkish lamb kabob, chicken cacciatore, saffron mussels, pork ribs, portabella chicken, paella and Kingston jerk steak with fried plantains and red beans and rice. Prices are $13.50 to $24.
Other dishes include ratatouille, fish cakes with chili dip, wings and Tandoori prawns.
Hours are 11 a.m. to midnight Sundays, 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. Mondays to Thursdays, and 11 a.m. to 3 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
8 WW Cuisines is at 115 S. Buffalo St., in the former Fusion and Mosaique location.

Moosewood BBQ marks anniversary
In honor of its second anniversary, Moosewood BBQ is serving up several features in June, including $2 pints of Blue Moon and Miller Light.
From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays, $5 lunches (sandwiches or platters) include tilapia, catfish, pulled pork, wings, quesadillas or a three-quarter-pound Mooseburger. All are served with a side dish, greens and cornbread.
After 4 p.m. Mondays to Thursdays, there are 10 dinners on the two for $13.95 menu. They include a half chicken, salmon, catfish, tilapia, ribs and pulled pork. All are served with two sides.
After 4 p.m. on weekends (Fridays through Sundays), enjoy all-you-can eat ribs, catfish and tilapia with wings and the salad bar. This special is $13.95 a person.
And on Tuesdays, get a tilapia, catfish or pulled pork sandwich for $2 (carryout only).

Dicky’s plans ‘Summer Starter’
Dickys Wild Hare will have its annual Summer Starter Party on Thursday. Island Vibe will play from 8 to 11 p.m. Enjoy Dickys Wild Punch for $4 or $2 pints of Bud Light.
The restaurant, 2910 Maplecrest Road, also has new menu items, including a Cuban sandwich, quesadillas and a sashimi tuna appetizer. All dinners now include the salad and soup bar.
And Dickys has a fundraising program for local schools and organizations, in which it donates a percentage of sales from a designated date. For information, call 486-0590.
Food, perks added at Linni Lyn’s
Linni Lyns Café has a new breakfast special: Get a plate of grilled potatoes, onions, green peppers and ham or sausage with toast. Prices start at $5.50.
On Fridays, a rib-tip dinner with two sides is $7.50. This offer starts at 11 a.m.
Owner Lindsay Martin also offers free wireless Internet access and plans to add outdoor seating this summer.
Hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays to Saturdays.

DeBrand crafts ‘Faces of the World’
DeBrand Chocolatier is releasing a new chocolate collection, Faces of the World.
Each box includes a piece of tahini (dark, milk and white chocolates with seasoned tahini); ginger (white chocolate with ginger); java (dark chocolate with Ethiopian coffee); hazel (white, milk and dark chocolates with hazelnuts and hazelnut paste); and caliente (milk chocolate with chili powder, cinnamon and cumin).
A box costs $12. But until June 9, if you buy one box, you can get one free.

Group giving away lunch downtown
Lunch on the Square, the Downtown Improvement Districts free summer concert series in the One Summit Square courtyard, starts this week.
It runs from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Thursday through July.
