Northrop sophomore wins heat

Northrop sophomore Demetra Taylor won the second heat of the 100-meter hurdles preliminaries at the state track meet Friday at Indiana University.

Already the top seed, Taylor secured a spot in the finals with the win.

Also in the finals from Fort Wayne will be Rosemary Easterday from Concordia and Frederica Rogers from Harding.
