Late-inning fireworks

TinCaps closer Nick Schumacher came up-and-in on Beloit's Michael Gonzales leading off the ninth inning. Gonzales hit the next pitch for a long home run, the final run in a 10-1 Snappers' victory. As he rounded home, Gonzales had a few choice words for Schumacher.

The benches didn't clear, but there was enough animosity that home plate umpire Matt Jones issued warnings to both dugouts.

Schumacher hit a batter with two outs, but was not ejected.
