  • Here are playoff rosters
No real surprises on the Komets playoff roster. Click here to see who all the ECHL teams turned in. Of note for Fort Wayne:
  • K's need a power surge
The Komets power play has shown some signs of life lately, but it still must be better if they want to defeat Reading in the Eastern Conference quarterfinals, which begin Thursday.
  • K's hot at right time
The Komets are one of the ECHL's hottest teams heading into the playoffs: They are 8-2-1 in their past 11 games, and they hope they are peaking at just the right time.

Boucher got game

As you might recall, Komets goaltender Nick Boucher is spending this summer playing in the Australian Ice Hockey League.

He's tearing it up, so far. Check out his statistics: Click here.

  • I continue to get a lot of "no comment" answers, and voice mails, when I try to get some news -- any news -- out of the Central Hockey League-IHL collective. • Tonight's edition of "We've got Game," the internet radio show co-hosted by Justin Cohn and Ben Smith, will air live 6 to 7 p.m., and can be heard on replay anytime afterward. I'm sure there will be plenty of hockey talk. Click here for the URL, and remember, you can listen on your computer, iPod or even phone. Pass it along. Great for when you're bored at work, jogging or paying the bills.
