Diego Maradona, the Hand of Gob

... as in, the man cannot shut his. Gob, I mean.

In typical Maradona fashion, the Argentine legend and now national coach has gone off on Pele, the Brazilians and French soccer icon Michel Platini , telling Pele to "go back to the museum" and wielding a little anti-Gallic bigotry against Platini by saying "we know how the French are and Platini is French and he thinks of himself as being more than the rest of the world."

This after both Pele and Platini criticized Maradona's performance as coach of the Argentine team.

I don't know enough about it to judge whether the diminutive Maradona is a good coach or not. But every time I see him capering down there on the sideline like a garden gnome come to life, only one thing comes to mind:

I can't believe they make suits that small.
