Khris Davis of Wisconsin won Monday's Midwest League home run derby. But Fort Wayne's Nate Freiman didn't go down easily.
Both sluggers put on a show for the fans. Davis finished with 11 in the final, Freiman had eight.
Freiman hit 12 in the opening round and six more in the second round.
"(TinCaps manager Jose Flores) throws awesome batting practice. He was just placing the ball right in there. It couldn't have been any better pitches to hit. Guys were cheering, my teammates were getting into it. I couldn't have had a better time."
