De Paula pitched seven no-hit innings in his previous start June 17 against Dayton. He was lifted from that game, and the TinCaps gave up a hit to the first batter of the eighth.

De Paula went five innings Saturday, allowing four runs, three earned, on seven hits. He struck out five.
