Kramer heads to Orlando; Scott snags offer

Former guard Chris Kramer arrived in Orlando on Sunday with his Pacers rookie/free agent teammates.

Starting Monday, the Pacers will play five games in five days in the Orlando Summer League, and you can watch all the games of that league and the Las Vegas Summer League online. All you have to do is head to click here and fork over $14.95.

To prep for Pacers' summer slate, check out this clip from a scrimmage this week. Kramer gets his first steal near the 4:15 mark and has another at about 5 minutes.

  • Northrop sophomore-to-be Bryson Scott got a scholarship offer this week to play for the Boilermakers, according to friend and fellow Purdue recruit Rapheal Davis. I spoke with Davis on Saturday night for my recruiting package feature -- you'll be seeing plenty of promos for that on the blog this month, including some exclusive content from Davis -- and he said Scott told him he got an offer after he came back from Purdue's team camp.

"I work out with him almost every day," Davis said. "He's a real tough-minded point guard, just a bulldog, plays real hard, plays tough."

  • Davis, who gave Purdue his oral commit last year, said he's focusing on his "fundamental game" this summer. He wants to develop a more consistent jump shot and improve his rebounding. He's also intent on becoming a better defender and hopes he can use his strength to be tough in that area.
