It's a mini-Mad Ants reunion at the 2010 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas, where six former Mad Ants are on the summer rosters of five separate teams.
Play in Vegas began last Saturday and will continue through Sunday.
Rob Kurz, who was named to the NBA D-League All-Star team last season, has played in two games with the Los Angeles Lakers. He played nearly eight minutes and didn't score in a loss to Denver on Saturday, but on Friday, Kurz played 24 minutes, was 4-of-6 from the floor, had 11 points, seven rebounds and five assists in an 89-84 victory over Detroit.
Center Jared Reiner didn't play for the Pistons against Kurz, but he did see six minutes of time in an 89-69 victory over Golden State. Reiner didn't score and had three fouls and a turnover.
Sean Sonderleiter has been in two games for New Orleans. In his first game, he had nine points and six rebounds in 14 minutes, and scored four points in 15 minutes.
Former Mad Ants teammates Ron Howard and Chris Hunter are on the summer roster of the New York Knicks. Neither played in the Knicks' loss to Denver on Sunday.
Ryan Ayers is with the Los Angeles Clippers, but the Clippers have yet to play a game.
