Going to seed

One of my hostas is heavy with seeds, the stalk nearly touching the ground.

I know that hostas from seeds are unlikely to look like the parent plants, and that it is pretty easy to just divide healthy plants.

But I'll try harvesting the seeds once they ripen and sow them in the spring.

Anyone had any luck with hosta seeds and have any tips? Send them to garden@jg.net.
