  • Tryout information
The Mad Ants will hold an open tryout from 2 to 6 p.m. Sept. 14 at the Quest Multisport Complex in Chicago.

Most Ants have day off

Tuesday was not a day for Ants watching in the NBA Summer League.

Only one former member of the Mad Ants played in Tuesday's seven-game schedule in Las Vegas.

Center Sean Sonderleiter played almost 21 minutes in his New Orleans Hornets' loss to Portland. Sonderleiter missed a couple shots, made a free throw, had five rebounds and an assist to go with his one point.

The only other Mad Ants player whose team played Tuesday was Rob Kurz's Los Angeles Lakers, but Kurz didn't play in L.A.'s loss to Sacramento.

The Summer League in Vegas will continue through this Sunday.
