Heptagonal Wash/Dish/Anycloth

This week's pattern is a cloth, knit back-and-forth in garter stitch, that uses short rows to create a seven-part rounded shape. The only special techniques you need to know are a temporary cast on and grafting in stockinette stitch. I'm calling it "Heptagonal", because it has seven sides. And I am a nerd.

Conversation

My conversation this week is with Carol Cameron, who goes by "rududu" online. We talk about many things, including the source of her wonderful screen name. She prefers the term "color play" instead of "color work." Fun!

Lara Neel
