4th hopeful vying to fill Borror’s seat

Bob Morris, owner of HealthKick Nutrition Center, announced Wednesday he will seek the seat vacated by state Rep. Randy Borror.

Morris ran unsuccessfully in the caucus to replace former Congressman Mark Souder and in the 2007 Fort Wayne City Council at-large race. He said he wants to continue the work of Gov. Mitch Daniels by reducing government interference.

He joins County Commissioner Bill Brown, former Fort Wayne Community Schools board member Jon Olinger and Derek Pillie, Souder’s congressional district manager, in the July 31 Republican caucus.
