Halfway home

INDIANAPOLIS -- ... and your leader is Greg Biffle, but it's starting to feel like a Juan Pablo Montoya day.

Montoya led 46 of the first 80 laps and seems to be content for the moment to just keep Biffle on a leash, hanging back by half a second or so. He's also had two big breaks: Sensing a deteriorating right front tire and pitting before it shredded, and getting a providential yellow on lap 67 to get back on pit sequence with the field.

Chip Ganassi's people clearly have figured out how to run at the front here. As of right now, Montoya and Ganassi teammate Jamie McMurray are running second and third.
