Ohio dad charged in death of infant son

Oehler

A Bryan, Ohio, man is charged with endangering a child in the death of his 4-month-old son this week.

Police declined to comment on the case, saying it is under investigation. It was unclear when police were notified the boy had been injured or where the injuries occurred, police said.

The boy, Aiden Oehler-McGinley, was injured Monday and taken to Toledo Children’s Hospital, police said. He died Tuesday.

His father, Kevin Oehler Jr., 20, was charged Wednesday with felony endangering a child. He was being held in lieu of $300,000 bail at the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio in Stryker.

Williams County Coroner Dr. Kevin Park did not return calls Thursday seeking comment on autopsy results.
