WEST LAFAYETTE — Next month's Indiana State Fair will include a Purdue University science lesson tackling the hot topic of climate change.
Fairgoers visiting the "Altered Earth" exhibit can learn how humans are contributing to climate change and how they can help reduce global warming.
The display will explore climate, weather and global warming with the "Climate Kids."
Purdue agricultural events coordinator Danica Kirkpatrick saids Purdue will sponsor a total of 10 family-friendly exhibits at the fair. Exhibits include lessons on robotics and learning how to figure out what various animals eat just by examining their teeth.
Kirkpatrick said Purdue's exhibits will bring the findings and knowledge of Purdue's researchers to the public.
