Llama on the loose in Lewiston

LEWISTON, Idaho — A llama is still on the loose in Lewiston.

Nez Perce County Sheriff's Lt. Bill Madison says they still haven't identified the owner of the llama, which has been helping itself to neighborhood gardens and shrubbery for just over a week.

Madison says if an opportunity arises, officers will try to safely and humanely bring it in. KLEW-TV reports the sheriff's department is seeking information on the owner of the pack animal.
