Magazine publisher set to retire

Goodman

Lisa Goodman, publisher of Fort Wayne Magazine, is retiring Aug. 27. She plans to travel and take golf lessons and gardening classes. She’ll also be looking in on her 10-month-old grandson in Chicago.

Mostly, though, she plans to stay involved with numerous community organizations, including the United Way, the Better Business Bureau of Northern Indiana, Boys and Girls Clubs of Fort Wayne and Junior Achievement of Northern Indiana.

The Shelbyville native, who turns 60 this month, joined Fort Wayne Newspapers – business agent for The Journal Gazette and The News-Sentinel – in 1982.

She has worked in advertising and marketing the entire 28 years. The company launched Fort Wayne Magazine in 2003.
