A click to Purdue's athletic Web site offers a chance to preview a commercial featuring receiver Keith Smith.

It has slow-motion -- Smith said he actually did some of that himself for "dramatic effect" instead of relying strictly on post-production -- and uses some cool camera angles in a spot featuring the team's leading receiver.

The commercial was filmed in Purdue's indoor practice facility and took about five hours to shoot, though it's run-time is only about 30 seconds.

But the final product was to Smith's liking.

"They did a great job with it," Smith said Tuesday at the Big Ten media day in Chicago. "I was amazed with it. I was like, 'Oh, wow! They made me look really good.' "

Smith said senior teammate Kyle Adams also a commercial, but Smith wasn't sure when it would air.
