The company Elizabeth Zimmerman founded, Schoolhouse Press, is working on the final stages of producing another book from her work. It has been years in the making and I can't wait to see it. I would say that it is a book every knitter should own, but every one of her books is a book every knitter should own, so it is just redundant for me to note that here again.
There is a new, commemorative, edition of Knitter's Almanac. I tried, and failed, not to order it...but then I did.
I really don't know what else to say except that I'm so very grateful that she wrote, published, and shared her vision for knitting with the world. Without her, I might be a knitter, but I would not be the knitter I am.
