Steuben County sheriffs deputies investigated a robbery at an Angola gas station Tuesday.
The robbery was reported about 5:30 p.m. at the Citgo mart near Interstate 69 and Indiana 20. Two men entered the gas station and demanded money from an employee. They then fled, possibly getting into an older-model gold-colored sedan and heading west on Indiana 20, police said. It was unclear how much money was taken.
One robber was described as being in his mid-20s, Hispanic, about 5-foot-7 with short, wavy dark-colored hair and wearing a dark shirt and shorts. The second robber was also in his mid-20s, Hispanic, had the same type of hair, was shorter and wore a dark-colored shirt.
Police also want to talk to a possible witness, a man who bought an advertising publication at the gas station about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday. That man was driving a dark-colored pickup truck.
Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call police at 260-668-1000, ext. 5000.
